India has so far been relying on Germany for the supply of Covid-19 test kit. But thanks to MyLabs a Pune based molecular diagnostics company which has developed the first made in india diagnostic kit with name — Mylab PathoDetect COVID-19 Qualitative PCR kit. This is the first company  to receive commercial approval from the Indian FDA/ Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO). in adition to this this is the only lab to have achieved 100 per cent sensitivity and specificity in the ICMR evaluation.
